An aura is a colour energy field that moves around the body, usually egg shape in design and resides 2 to 3 feet from the physical body.
The colours in the aura can affect your moods, thoughts, feelings and emotions and being able to infuse your aura with colour can help to alleviate stress and anxiety and instead replace these feelings with calm, peace and tranquillity.
Calmness after all is a state of being where one can hold that space of being in the present moment and feel relaxed, have clarity and feel at one with oneself.
One of the colours that can induce calmness in the body and mind is pale blue. This colour can be used for yourself personally and also be used in a room setting to produce a feeling of calmness whether in a work or home space.
Calmness for personal space –
1. Take a moment and think of the colour pale blue
2. Take a breath and imagine you are breathing in pale blue
3. With every outward breath, imagine you are breathing out pale blue
4. Breathe in pale blue
5. Breathe out pale blue
6. Continue this cycle of breathing in, breathing out pale blue
7. And with every inward breath, feel your body filling up with pale blue
8. And with every outward breath feel the space around you filling with pale blue
9. Continue this for as long as you need, feeling this pale blue offering you calm, peace and a tranquil space in mind and heart.
Infusing colour through the power of breath allows the colour to flow into your auric space and helps release stress and negativity.
A moment of calm in the work or home space –
1. Imagine all the walls in the room are painted pale blue colour by focusing on each wall at a time in the shade of pale blue that resonates for you
2. Just imagine that each wall is painted in the shade of blue that makes you smile
3. And as you look at each wall, feel each wall painted with that shade of blue
4. Then take a look at the floor and imagine the floor taking on this shade of blue
5. Imagine this room a space of calmness, a space of light, a space of peace.
Changing the colour of a room energetically changes how it feels, changes the auric space of the room for the time held in the colour thought of the colour chosen. It alters the mood of a room and as the mood of the room changes this can influence the mood of the person in the room.
So, if you are feeling stressed at home or at work, change the colour of the space to pale blue, the colour of peace and calm.
