You might say to yourself that is far easier said than done and in one respect you might have a point but believe it or not, don’t worry, be happy is simple to say and simple to do.

Worrying about something does not change what you are worrying about for the better, in fact it makes you feel worse, because as soon as you open the door way to worry, what has started as a little niggling thought could soon become a tidal wave.

Using the analogy of opening the door and seeing a fleck of snow and before you know it an avalanche of snow has arrived through the door. When you open the door to worry, energy builds, and that worrying thought like a fleck of snow is calling to all the other flecks of snow, building and building until an avalanche occurs.

The simple fact is all this worrying has not altered what you are worrying about. If anything, it has made you feel worse, not just emotionally but it can actually build and affect your physical wellbeing too.

So, the simple to profound way of don’t worry, be happy is next time you have a worrying thought, shut the door on it. The more often you shut the door on a worrying thought, that worrying thought will stop knocking on the door and trying to come in.

By shutting the door on a worrying thought, the less energy you are giving it, and eventually the worrying thought will disperse because you are not feeding it.

It is a choice, to choose to worry, which forms an anticlockwise spin of negative energy in your system. Or you can choose to be happy which forms a clockwise spin of positive energy in your system.

Don’t worry, Be Happy instead. Happiness is an emotion but fundamentally it starts as a thought that you can invite in and the more love and attention you give happiness, so it is it will grow within you. Energy feeds, the happier you are the more happiness you will attract to you.

Everything in life gives you opportunities or problems depending which way you look at them. Dealing with them from a positive perspective enables the energy flowing in your life to be one of positive intent, and being happy raises your vibration.
